The GTO's is a "groupie group" that consisted of Miss Pamela, Miss Sparky, Miss Lucy, Miss Christine, Miss Sandra, Miss Mercy and Miss Cynderella. The group around the sunset strip. GTO is an acronym for the full band name "Girls Together Outrageously". Outrageously is often substituted with many other words beginning with the letter O such as Occasionally. Their only album, Permanent Damage, was produced in 1969 by Frank Zappa and Lowell George (track 7 and 11). In between songs there are tracks of some of the band members talking with friends about anything under the sun. The most famous of the GTOs is Miss Pamela, author of the groupie-memoir I'm With The Band. The album features songwriting contributions from Lowell George, Jeff Beck and Davy Jones.
